Basic conditions
- Select a pre-approved name or RNPC name certificate and model articles. All proposed members attend the counter; settle accountant and capital arrangements. Foreign corporate documents and authority need case review.
Required documents
- Individuals provide identity and NIF. Corporate members provide identification, authorising resolution, representative identity and current formation documents/articles. Foreign translation, authentication and obtaining Portuguese tax IDs need confirmation.
Process
- Choose name/articles, attend with all members, sign and register, receive articles and registry/card access codes plus social-security number, then complete applicable tax, capital and ownership steps.
Official processing time and starting conditions
The official service combines formation in one counter visit without a fixed minute guarantee. Complete documents and commencement of counter service are prerequisites; appointments, corrections, banking, permits and tax are excluded.

- Arrange accountant and tax commencement filing after formation. Register beneficial ownership in RCBE within 30 days of incorporation. Annual accounts, tax and change-filing deadlines still require entity-specific research.

- Foreign-owner authentication/IDs, complete capital rules, annual tax deadlines, permits and online eligibility remain incomplete. The listed official fee covers only the normal counter application, not every form or total cost.

Registered office, registered agent and company secretary arrangements depend on the destination, entity type and actual business activities. Not every service applies in every country.
